Sensory integration and emotional regulation: Sensory processing and regulation, regulation of emotions, coping skills and anxiety support, nervous system regulation and interoception, body awareness and self-regulation
Daily living skills: Dressing, feeding, feeding challenges, hygiene, toileting, routines (morning, bedtime, mealtime), social participation, play skills, and peer interaction skills

In-home OT sessions
For families in Northern and Central New Jersey or the Manhattan area, Guided Growth OT offers in-home visits to complement virtual services. These visits provide hands-on support in your child’s natural environment, letting us observe routines, assess challenges, and offer practical strategies tailored to your family.
In-home visits are short-term and goal-focused, ideal for:
• Gathering insights that may not come through virtual sessions
• Addressing a specific challenge at home
• Supporting carryover of strategies learned online
• Helping caregivers implement new techniques in real-world routines
This service is designed as a convenient, individualized option for targeted guidance, not as long-term therapy.

Support for Life Changes
At Guided Growth OT, we help children and teens navigate important life changes with confidence. Whether it’s starting a new school, preparing for a job or volunteer position, attending summer camp, or managing unexpected changes, we provide practical strategies and emotional support to help them feel prepared.
During transitions, we help children and young adults:
- Build independence and practical life skills for new routines
- Develop social skills and navigate new peer or work environments
- Manage routines and expectations in unfamiliar settings
- Strengthen self-regulation and coping strategies
- Address worries, stress, or anxiety related to change
- Foster confidence and resilience in the face of new challenges

School Readiness Screening
Our virtual School Readiness Screening is a parent-focused consultation designed to help you understand how your child is developing in the skills needed for a successful transition to school.
Through a guided discussion, we explore areas such as attention, fine motor skills, sensory regulation, independence, and early executive functioning, then translate your child’s needs into practical, play-based activities for home.
This service is ideal for:
• Children ages 3–6 preparing for preschool or kindergarten
• Parents who are unsure if their child is on track
• Families looking for practical, at-home strategies
• Insight into challenges with attention, coordination, or transitions
You’ll leave with clear next steps, simple strategies to support your child, and guidance on whether any additional support may be helpful.
This is a short-term, consultative service, not a formal evaluation or ongoing therapy.
